My personal story has given me the ability to transform the businesses I work with and create a life owners want. Clients capitalize on my combination of business acumen, experience, business education and life experience that is unmatched.
I've seen it all and can coach you through the most challenging times and help you reach your goals.
I thought I was building the life I'd always wanted.
A basketball scholarship carried me from the Jersey Shore into college, where I studied business with one goal in mind: someday owning a company of my own.
At 30, I did exactly that.
I launched a premium limousine company in Charleston, South Carolina, built it one client at a time, and created something many entrepreneurs dream about: a successful business that gave me the freedom to be present for my two young sons Peter and Jack.
While other dads were missing milestones, I was there.
School events.
Family moments.
Everyday memories.
Life was working.
Then a Christmas gift changed everything.
A bicycle turned into a passion for triathlons. Before long, I was competing in Ironman races and pushing myself further than I ever thought possible.
From the outside, it looked like I was winning in every area of life.
Until one day, everything changed.
In 2008, while training for an Ironman, a car struck me at nearly 40 miles per hour.
My leg shattered.
Bone pierced through skin.
As I lay on the pavement, unable to move, one thought raced through my mind:
"Thank God I'm not paralyzed."
Doctors said recovery would take months.
Most people would have focused on simply walking again.
I focused on finishing the Ironman I had already registered for.
Five months later, I crossed the finish line.
But the real challenge wasn't physical.
It was still ahead.
Inspired by my rehabilitation experience, I decided to become a physical therapist.
I completed years of prerequisite coursework while running a business and raising a family.
Then life delivered another devastating blow.
My marriage ended.
What followed were years of legal battles, emotional strain, financial setbacks, and uncertainty.
Despite being accepted into a Doctor of Physical Therapy program, the weight of everything happening around me became too much.
I failed by a painfully narrow margin.
I was dismissed from the program.
The business owner who once had a paid-off home and financial freedom found himself starting over from scratch.
For many people, this would have been the end of the story.
For me, it became the beginning of a transformation.
When everything I had built seemed to disappear, I gained something I never could have learned through success alone:
Empathy.
Humility.
Perspective.
I learned that behind every business challenge is a human being carrying burdens no one else can see.
I learned that business isn't just about strategy.
It's about people.
It's about helping leaders navigate real life while running real companies.
Over time, I rebuilt.
I found love again and married Janet, the woman I call my true blessing.
Together, we created a life centered on faith, family, and purpose over the last decade.
The lessons from entrepreneurship, recovery, failure, loss, and rebuilding became the foundation of the coach and consultant I am today.
Now, when business owners come to me looking for growth strategies, operational improvements, or leadership guidance, they're getting more than an MBA.
They're getting someone who understands what it's like to sit in the driver's seat.
Someone who has built businesses.
Started over.
Failed.
Recovered.
And come back stronger.
My mission isn't just to help business owners grow their companies.
It is about helping them build businesses that support the lives they actually want to live.
And that's a lesson I learned the hard way.
I don't just understand business because I studied it. I understand it because I've lived through the highs, the lows, and everything in between.
Success isn't defined by avoiding setbacks. It's defined by what you become while overcoming them.
What obstacles are you facing?
What targets are you trying to hit that seem out out of reach?
Feel overwhelmed?
Burned out?
Stressed?
Now is the time to transform your business to live the life you want.
You have already done the hard part.
You took a chance that few people have the courage to do.
Business ownership isn't for everyone,
It can be a blessing or a burden.
I am here to remove the burdens and help you harvest the benefits.
